If NBCU did allow over-the-top-video access to the Olympics, effectively bypassing their cable/satellite MSOs, those operators in turn would take a harsher line regarding affiliate fees, channel placement, and ultimately carriage.  Besides, all NBCU cared about is broadcast, they've been screwing over their cable ops since 2004 and the smart ones are trying to jump ship (Congrats Stotsky!) from cable to the mothership.</description>
