VideoJug Delivers Green Content in MSN Deal

In a deal announced just ahead of the Live Earth concerts, MSN has partnered with “video encyclopedia of life” producers VideoJug, to deliver their How-To and Ask the Expert content across MSN and affiliates.

Joe Michaels, senior director of Business Development for MSN Entertainment and Video said of the ‘Jug in a statement, “The sheer size of their online library, the professional quality of their films, and the fact that their content covers such an amazing range of topics makes this alliance an obvious match for us.”

This is a great sign for other independent content producers looking for distribution and ad revenue. For the Live Earth event, VideoJug provided a catalog of content on living green, working green, protecting the environment, offering answers and step-by-step guides concerning the core issues of the global warming crisis.

Despite good content, however, traffic to the Videojug site has been less than stellar. Their top green living video (above) has only been viewed 3,314 times, hardly enough to suit advertiser needs. Syndication across a larger content network offers an answer.
