Wilshire & Washington is reporting that Fred Thompson will make a “pre-announcement” of his intentions to run on Jay Leno prior to the aforementioned webcast…ahem publicity stunt. Glad you saw it our way Fred.

It appears that following today’s announcement at an appearance in Tenessee, Thompson will also announce in an ad placed during the Fox News Debate on Wednesday (in lieu of being there, he’s gotta do Leno remember) and announce in a live webcast on Thursday.

You have to hand it to him, he’s certainly milking this new media strategy is the message trend for all its worth.

Meanwhile TNT is coming under fire for continuing to air Law & Order episodes featuring Thompson, in potential conflict with the equal time for candidates law broadcast networks are required to adhere to.
