For the Holidays: Operation Fruitcake
Wednesday, December 5th, 2007Just in time for the holiday season, there’s a new viral video site (ok, I think its new, but we can’t keep track of all of them) dedicated to everyone’s least favorite icon of the holidays - the fruitcake.
Operation Fruitcake has videos, including one from the good folks at Will It Blend, covering all the ways you can…..uh……..rid yourself of a fruitcake.
It’s an excellent example of leveraging viral video for a brand. In this case, the underlying theme is that Bill Me Later saves you a ton of hassle during the holidays and you can get what you want…..instead of a fruitcake.
