Heavy Inks Syndication Deal With CBSSports.com
Wednesday, June 4th, 2008Heavy.com will begin syndicating The Burly Sports Show to CBSSports.com. The weekly show hosted by comedian Nick “Fitzy” Stevens reaches over 2 million monthly viewers according to an emailed release.
CBSSports.com has been relatively light when it comes to online video content in the past so it makes sense for them to start seeking out quality independently produced content. CBS Sports will manage ad sales for the show on their network.
In a separate announcement, Heavy announced they will spin off Husky Media, their video ad platform as its own entity. You may remember our previous coverage of one of the Husky Network’s unique, in-your-face ad formats.
