Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

No surprise that President Barack Obama’s (it sounds really good to say that doesn’t it?) victory speech is at the top of Viral Video Chart today. It’s embedded below in case you missed it, or like me just want to see it again.

So now what happens to the most digital / social media campaign in history? Will we still get twitter updates? Will the YouTube station still be used? Will we get text messages announcing cabinet members? Here’s hoping.

Vint Cerf Endorses Obama

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

Vint Cerf, Google Chief Internet Evangalist and the guy who basically created the internet has endorsed Barack Obama for president in an A Vote For Science YouTube video, citing Obama’s stance on Net Neutrality.

20,000 Watch Obama Interview Live On Mogulus

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

The Mogulus blog reports that an editorial board interview with Barack Obama at the Indianapolis Star was viewed live by more than 20,000 unique users.

The scale of the event is an endorsement of the strength of the Mogulus platform, and equally impressive for the fact that an event which would have previously never been broadcast drove record traffic on the IndyStar website.

Iowa Caucus Results Live

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Results are still coming in from the Iowa Caucus, beamed to digital billboards across the state, Iowa party websites and Google maps. Obama is the projected Democratic winner with Edwards and Clinton neck and neck in the battle for second place. CBS just projected Huckabee will be the Republican winner.

The Des Moines Register has teamed up with YouTube for video surrounding the caucus but live video streaming is wide open, leaving citizen jounalism site The UpTake and blogger Shelbinator to split the live audience online.
