Title: Senior Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

In order to accelerate our leadership position in the rapidly evolving and high growth online video space, Tremor Media is looking to hire a Sr. Marketing Manager who will lead the company’s strategic sales support efforts. The Sr. Marketing Manager position will report to the Director of Marketing in Tremor Media’s headquarters in New York City.

The Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and developing proactive and strategic sales presentations and packages that support Tremor Media’s go to market strategies focused on key industries segments, accounts, and solutions.

In addition, the Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible leading and delegating day to day sales requests for customized RFP and RFI responses. The Sr. Marketing Manager must be able to leverage data, insights, and best practices to ideate and develop solutions that are optimal for meeting the client’s campaign objectives. In addition, he/she must be able to deliver compelling proposals and presentations that clearly articulate Tremor Media’s differentiation and value proposition relative to the client’s specific needs and objectives, with little supervision.

The Sr. Marketing Manager is expected to be expert in Tremor Media products and offerings to develop effective selling tools and presentations. He/she must be a strategic thinker, consultative seller, and an effective team player that will work closely with the Sales Planning team and other members of the Marketing Team including Product Marketing and Research.

The Sr. Marketing Manager must be able to lead and balance the longer term strategic sales efforts with day to day sales needs to meet Tremor Media’s overall sales objectives. Given the volume and complexity of strategic efforts and day to day requests, and the short turnaround timeframes, the Sr. Marketing Manager must have a disciplined process orientation, sound judgment to assess and prioritize projects based on business needs, and the ability to gracefully juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include:

· Concept and develop proactive sales presentations and packages for key industries and accounts demonstrating value and points of differentiation

· Lead development of updated strategic selling tools that can be applied to standard RFP responses.

· Responsible for training the sales team on how to utilize strategic sales tools created

· Lead the response to sales requests for custom proposals and presentations for key industries and accounts with consultative selling strategies grounded in insights and Tremor Media best practices based on client needs and objectives.

· Implement disciplined process to estimate, prioritize and schedule work in response to requests from Regional Sales Managers to ensure they are effectively addressed and completed in a timely manner.

· Responsible for ensuring that all proposals, presentations, and sales marketing responses adhere to Tremor Media’s quality, brand, and operational standards.

· Accountable for possessing a deep knowledge and expertise around Tremor Media’s offerings and go to market strategies in order drive relevant client.

· Facilitate communication and collaboration between marketing, product and sales to identify solutions for clients that align with client’s business goals and objectives.

· Present and participate in multiple senior level client meetings.

· Possess broad industry expertise to help understand clients businesses and generate new ideas to enhance performance.

· Lead the creation of marketing collateral materials for sales team including developing a new media kit.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· 8 years of sales marketing experience at a digital media publisher or agency.

· Ability to work effectively with a national sales team to lead the delivery proactive selling tools while managing day to day sales requests.

· Experience in an online video advertising environment a plus.

· Exceptional organizational skills and process discipline. Must be able to assess work load, manage resources, and make recommendations to improve processes.

· Strategic thinking skills and understanding of the online media / advertising space and consultative selling skills.

· Experience in presenting to senior level clients.

· Experience in leading a sales support strategy from conception to development with little supervision.

· Commitment to quality and accuracy. Meticulous attention to detail n both content and style of deliverables.

· Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration with resourced across teams.

· Strong PC skills and exceptional PowerPoint skills.

· Proactive, creative, forward thinking and resourceful.

· Can multi-task and gracefully juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Sound judgment to assess and prioritize projects based on business needs.

· Can balance the need for quick turnaround with longer term strategic efforts.

· Is flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities or ambiguity.

· Is solution-oriented and can overcome obstacles to drive projects through completion.

· Alignment to Tremor Media’s vision and core values.
