Ok, we don’t have a booth, so it won’t be that easy. But come say hello to me (Corey) at Mediapost’s OMMA Hollywood Conference.
You can find me at Tremor Media’s “Video the Way You Want It” workshop, 11:15am on Monday, at Stage 2, which is open to all conference attendees. You can also find me on Monday at the “Targeting in Online Video: Finding Audiences & Advertisers for All This Video,” which takes place at 11:30 in Studio D. That panel features execs from ScanScout, MySpaceTV, Advertising.com, and For Your Imagination (who threw a killer party last week in NYC!). Come by to learn how advertisers can find their core audiences that are hiding behind hundreds of wildly different video clips.
At 4pm on Monday I’ll be at the “Pitch Your Niche: Understanding Vertical Video Content Opportunities,” in Studio A, moderated by Palisades Media’s VP of Integrated Marketing, Corey Weiss, as well as reps from FoxSports.com, the Associated Press, and Peter Tyrell, a life saver from The Enthusiast Network (TEN Magazines). If you’ve wondered about all the “other” content that isn’t the UGC crap on YouTube, this panel is for you.
Wrapping up before the day’s official cocktail party is a must-see panel on buying video ads. “How to Buy Video and Look Smart Doing It,” is moderated by Moxie Interactive’s Managing Director, David Goodrich, who will be joined by Randy Kilgore from Tremor Media, Chris Bryant from widget network Reset Media, Chris Johnston from Brightcove, and Stephen Comfort from YuMe Networks. Collectively, these guys have bought and sold more video than just about anyone, so pick up a few tips from these serious thought leaders before you pick up a drink at the pool.
On Tuesday I’ll be at the “Measuring Success in a Bi-Polar Media Universe,” at 11:30am, where the mysterious “engagement metric” as well as strategies for determining if your campaign is working or not — or if you are even using the right tool for measuring. Dynamic Logic, Nielsen Online Media, The Atlas Institute, Visible Measures and Tribal Fusion all weigh in.
At 12:15, I’ll be looking for good content at the “Where’s All The Good Content” panel, moderated by Freewheel’s Jon Heller. He’s joined by Vibrant Media, Studio One Networks, TidalTV and Minyanville reps to discuss the content landscape, who is making money, how they are doing it, and whether or not your brand should be there.
So come find me and say hello!
