PermissionTV Launches Sex (Ed) Channel
Down boys, down. We’re not talking about porn.
Video publishing platform PermissionTV has launched a new channel focused on empowering young adults to make informed decisions about their sexuality and intimate relationships.
Amber Madison, the 23 year old author of “Hooking Up: A Girl’s All-Out Guide to Sex & Sexuality,” brings frank talk to her peers about sensitive issues including: “How to Tell Your Parents You’re Ready,” “When Sex Is a Bad Idea,” “How to Use a Condom Correctly,” “HPV Vaccine,” “Masturbation,” and “Signs of an Abusive Relationship.”
Other programming covers sexual health topics including body image, contraception, masturbation, orgasms, pregnancy, relationships, sexual assault, sexual orientation and STDs.
Online video is an ideal medium for content like this, allowing for a one-on-one viewing experience that respects privacy, while tackling sensitive, hard-to-ask questions. Viewers can email questions, post their own experiences, share select videos with friends and find additional resources for factual information.

Think Amanda Congdon meets Dr. Drew or an online video version of Sari Locker.
