Barely more than a month ago, we wrote about Outrigger Media’s growth and the development of a new targeting platform. Well, it looks like the company has no plans of slowing down for the summer doldrums. As ad networks are increasingly under pressure to differentiate and provide additional value over DSPs, rep firms like Outrigger are extremely well positioned for growth.
In addition to the previously reported hires of Lightningcast refugees Dave Markley (CTO) and Tom Des Jardins (Chief Scientist), Outrigger Media has added a VP of Marketing and Sales Directors for the West Coast and Midwest.
Meryl Haslach, VP of Marketing, joins Outrigger Media from another “OM” outlet, Omnicom’s OMD. At Outrigger, she’ll focus on ad products and positioning of their relationship with video portal Veoh.
Will Healey joins from MTVN’s Digital Entertainment Group to lead the West Coast sales effort out of San Francisco. In the Midwest, Michael Comins will leverage his 20 years of experience working with AMEX, J&J, LL Bean, M&M/Mars and Honda in growing Outrigger’s presence in Chicago and throughout the Midwest.
