New Hires at Outrigger to Build Targeting Platform

Outrigger Media, a video advertising rep firm that has, to date, focused on repping music related inventory and creating custom, integrated opportunities, today announced two key hires to further develop its next generation video advertising targeting platform.

Outrigger snagged industry vets Dave Markley and Tom Des Jardins, both previously from Lightningcast, as chief technology officer and chief scientist, respectively.

Des Jardins has been a leader in the Internet video advertising space and was a founder of Lightningcast, the video advertising system used in Hulu and Platform A, and currently consults with startup incubator, Launchbox Digital.

Markley pioneered large-scale streaming media ad solutions for leading media companies such as Comcast, Hulu, Scripps, ABC, CBS, and others while serving as VP of Engineering for Lightningcast.
