IAB To Set Video Audience Measurement Guidelines

TV Week’s Daisy Whitney reports that the Interactive Advertising Bureau is establishing a committee to more clearly define standards for web audience measurement.

Steve Safran of LostRemote explained it quite eloquently:

If you have one show and stream it all at once, that’s “one stream.” But if you cut it into four segments, suddenly you put out “four streams” and “quadrupled” your audience. You can see the problem.
