Kudos to Hulu for having (in my opinion) the best ad of this year’s Superbowl. What happened to the Miller Lite 1 second spots? I didn’t see any of them.
In addition to reigning supremem on the ad side, Hulu has put together a flexibile widget for people to embed on their own blogs to watch the Superbowl ads. Vertical or horizontal orientation, you choose top show 2, 3, or 4 thumbnails. Nice touch. Still awkward to have one advertiser sponsoring someone else’s ad, but at leat the pre-rolls are of the 3 second variety.
I also liked seeing Hyudai’s online video effort with the “EditYourOwn.com” mash-up, using Adobe’s Premier Express. Unfortunately, users who headed over to the site following the commercial were greeted with an endless buffering of the pre-loader.
