Upcoming Flash Player Improvements

VP6 is a pretty good codec. And those guys at Adobe sure know how to get their money’s worth from it. A little while back, Ryan Stewart sat down with Adobe’s Tinic Uro for a look at upcoming flash improvements. Adobe posted the video this week at video.onflex.org.

Flash player 9.1 will offer an enhanced full screen feature that includes hardware acceleration for playing high definition in full 1080P. I’m looking forward to that but it’s unfortunate there still aren’t many HD videos legally available online.

  • For the past nine days we have been snowed in. This has not been incredibly very much fun as all seven kids can be found trapped inside the house with me for the wonderful deal in the time. It has been too cold for them to stay out for any length of time. To add to that, our electric keeps planning in and out. Whenever we do have electricity we charge the laptop battery. I’m glad we discovered the website where we can do this as it keeps everyone occupied and quiet. I consider I miss the quiet most of all.
