Director of Interactive Marketing for Comcast Interactive Media

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive marketing plan and strategy, with a focus on ROI for Comcast.net.
In this role you will also:
• Be responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs and campaigns to meet acquisition, engagement, and revenue targets.
• Develop database marketing strategy and execution; supervise database marketing manager.
• Work closely with Content Services organization, Product Management, Business Development, and Sales teams to identify business needs, implement product marketing plans, track marketing effectiveness and ROI, and guide product line strategies.
• Explore and execute content sampling and/or syndication of assets that drive Unique Visitors, Page Views, and Video Views to comcast.net
• Responsible for management of marketing campaigns and initiatives for cross-platform product offerings
• Work with Comcast corporate entities to build www.comcast.net opportunities and to support cable division objectives.
• Research and analyze industry sources, economic analysis, competitive position and products.
• Manage internal and external resources to optimize SEO, SEM, advertising, promotions, partnerships, and other tactics to increase reach
• Identify company assets, including installers, self-install, cross promotion, online and offline inventory to attain new users and increase engagement with comcast.net
• Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
• BS in Marketing or related relevant discipline or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred.
• 7 + years experience in online marketing in the telecommunications, consumer products, online media or high technology industries, preferably with blue chip companies and working with big brands..
• Extensive experience in the creation of marketing plans and advertising campaigns; direct experience in managing: SEO, online advertising, promotions/sweepstakes, conversational media (blogging, social networks, user generated content, etc.), and partnerships. You must have working knowledge of each of these.
• Creativity, attention to detail, ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task, flexibility and comfort in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Must be a team player, able to work closely with cross-functional development groups and anticipate and react to changes quickly.
• Must be able to travel.
